Alexander Benz laid the foundation stone for B&M Wealth Management together with Monika Müller when they founded Alexander Benz Vermögensverwaltung in 1994. After successful business years in Birmensdorf, the company moved to Zurich city centre in 2002. Reorienting the company in both strategic and personnel terms, Alexander Benz and Carlos Martins founded B&M Wealth Management AG in 2012. Marcel Müller joined the team in 2013, followed by Dania Gschwind-Widmer in 2015.

In the mid-seventies, he started at Handelsbank N.W. in Zurich. He later joined Bankers Trust AG, where he worked in foreign exchange and equity trading. In 1987 he joined the J. Baer Bank, where he was responsible for the portfolio management of foreign institutional clients, before heading the entire investment advisory service for private clients in Asia. In 1994, he became self-employed and founded Alexander Benz Vermögensverwaltung. With his winning personality, his calm and objective manner, his competence and reliability, he has made a great impression on his clients over the years. He is a sports enthusiast and is involved as co-founder and president of an association to support poor children in South America.

Carlos Martins
He started his banking career at Credit Suisse. For several years, he successfully managed branches abroad. After switching to the J. Baer Bank, he decided to join an external asset management company in 2009. As a founding member of B&M Wealth Management, he now concentrates on what is closest to his heart: advising clients according to their needs, with charm and expertise, in German as well as in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian. In his free time, Carlos spends a lot of time with his family, goes for long walks with his labrador Zorro, enjoys good food and a glass of wine – and in winter you may well meet him on the ski slope.

After completing her banking training at the Zürcher Kantonalbank, she moved to the private client sector of the J. Baer Bank. Since 1994 she has been working together with Alexander Benz in the asset management area. Monika Müller-Boo is responsible for all administrative matters. She coordinates, organises and supports the Board of Directors in all respects and is happy to take time for your concerns. In her free time, she enjoys e-biking, Pilates and strength training, loves skiing and travelling to foreign countries.

This breadth of financial investment experience and expertise, along with a strong reliability are well appreciated. In her free time Dania is a passionate dressage rider.
